Neeraj Chopra wins gold medal in javelin, first athletics to win gold for India in Olympics
Today on August 7, 2021, Neeraj Chopra won India’s first gold medal at Tokyo Olympics with a throw of 87.58m, finishing podium at the top of the table.
India’s Star Javelin thrower became the first Indian javelin thrower in the history to win the gold medal at the Olympics.
It was a historic day for the nation as Neeraj Chopra’s, a 23-year-old javelin thrower from Haryana won the India’s first track and field gold medal at the Olympics.
